Apollo Bay Music Festival 2008 - Day 01 - Part 2

This is part 2 of Day 01 (Friday 25th) of the ABMF 2008.

Continuing on from the first part and we are still continuing with Georgia Fields & The Freeways from the Colac Otway Shire Stage.



We go back to the ABC Radio Stage and see a country band 'Halfway' performing there.














At the Apollo Bay Hotel again, this time with some shots of another country band called Redfish Bluegrass.

A walk down the road leads me to the Church where Silo String Quartet are performing.
Since this type of band was a classical outfit, not many closer pictures were taken of the band because the sound from my camera would have ruined the silent bits of the song that they played. I managed to get onto the top floor at the rear of the church where no one was, and took pictures from up there.









The Street Parade started at one end of the Great Ocean Rd. and finished to about where the Apollo Bay Hotel is situated. There was a long dragon, kids on bike with bells, little kids and big kids (adults) in fancy dress. It ended with a barrage of fireworks. The fireworks were taken at the place I was staying at during the festival, the ECO Beach YHA, on one of there balconies.
