mitmat4d: University Games 2008

Hello everyone, and welcome to the UNI GAMES page. This page will contain most of the photos taken during the unigames of the Charles Darwin University Teams. CDU sent in teams ranging in the sports of Men's Touch, Mixed Touch, Badminton, Men's Volleyball, Mixed Beach Volleyball, Table Tennis, One Man JUDO, One Woman in Athletics, and a squad in Lawn Bowls.

Over all we had an awesome time whilst in Melbourne for the Uni Games.
The Photos will be arranged in Days, I will post as much information on the sports of each day. I sadly was unable to take any pictures of the Badminton team, Judo or even athletics as I was incredibly lazy and tired. The transport systems in Melbourne was really tiring and boring to be honest.

Anyways enough about me, below are the Days, and with each day a different sport.

Day 1. Sunday
Arrival at Melbourne airport and to our accommodation, URBAN CENTRAL. With plenty of drinking until the wee hours of the morning.

Day 2. Monday
Mixed Touch being played at the Netball and Hockey Stadium, and the Fluro Themed Party At Queensbridge Hotel (QBH).

Day 3. Tuesday
Mens Touch at the Clayton Campus, Then off to St Kilda Beach for Mixed Beach Volleyball, then dressing up for PJ Party which we never made it into QBH as it was packed, so we went back to Urban Central for a moderately quiet one.

Day 4. Wednesday
Men's Touch both games at Monash Clayton Campus, Then off to Steak at crown, then Laser Skirmish, then onto the GALATIC CIRCUS of games and fun.

Day 5. Thursday
Today was many different sports, Lawn Bowls, Table Tennis, Volleyball, and Mixed Touch, and of course drinking. Including in this day is the night time, where many things happened but some of which shall not be spoken of ever again.

Day 6. Friday
It todays events it was the fianl game for the Mixed Touch, final for the Men's Touch as well which both were held at the Monash Clayton Campus. Also it was the night to DRESS TO IMPRESS, which turned to be Different to the nights before hand.
